P.S. I Love You and Darlinda Just Darlinda have put together an uproarious line-up of stars for America's Next Top Mary, their burlesque tribute to the Virgin Mary, on Mon May 19th. In Cathlic lore May is the month of Mary and to celebrate the occasion Legs Malone, Dirty Martini, Tigger!, Julie Atlas Muz, Darlinda Just Darlinda, Jo Boobs and La JohnJoseph will all be paying homage to the Queen of Heaven in various reverentially irrevent ways. Scene faces Glenn Marla and Erin Markey will also be onhand as celestial talent scouts, scouring the crowd for participants willing to compete onstage for the title of America's Next Top Mary.

Monday, May 12th  sees PS 122 host GLAMOK: A Benefit Extravaganza for Circus AMOK ! Performances comne come from the great and the good including Baby Dee, Julie Atlas Muz, the Dazzle Dancers, Peggy Shaw and more. Carmelita Tropicana is the Mistress of Ceremonies and will preside over a glorious auction of items donated by the likes of Heatherette, Babeland and Yogasana.  Tickets are $50-$70 on a sliding scale.

Weimar New York 's naughty little sister, TingelTangel Club is now a hit on both coasts, with a monthly party in San Francisco complementing the original soiree in Brooklyn. The party returns to home turf on May 16th for another evening of discotheque art salon realness at Glasslands in Williamsburg. The Pixie Harlots host the evening, and DJ Mondo Lucien spins a mix of international lounge, obscure disco and other aural delights. Featured performers include burlesque performance artist (and a regular at The Box) Narcissister; The Dueling Bankheads' David Ilku; vaudevillian Ambrose Martos; German cabaret performer Micaela Leon; and comic genius and stunning vocalist Amber Martin. The evening is emceed by Earl Dax.
