Newsflash

This Friday, August 21, the Spike Lee film of the Tony-winning musical Passing Strange opens at IFC Center for a 2-week limited engagement.  Written by Stew and Heidi Rodewald, Passing Strange began at The Public Theater and transfered to Broadway on the strength of rapturous reviews and enthusiastic audience response.  The film version was shot live at The Belasco Theater on Broadway and features the original cast.  Try to attend on the all-important opening weekend, so this wonderful work can find an even broader audience with a wider release.
