Murray Hill presents and hosts THE legendary 7th Annual Miss LEZ Pageant at the new Brooklyn location of the Luna Lounge. The Miss LEZ Pageant is a wildly provocative, insane, jaw-dropping alternative beauty pageant for queer womyn in NYC that blows the lid off of "gender representation".
The celebutante formerly known as "Harrie," Harriet Halloway knows how to buck a trend! Not only has she dropped the iconic one name canard (think Cher, Madonna, Kylie, etc.), but she's making an atypical transition from downtown eye candy to bona fide stand up comic! Join Harriet on November 11th as she headlines Gotham Comedy Club. Her opener? The incredible John Roberts. Talk about more bang for your buck!

Harriet Halloway has been taking the NYC comedy scene by storm over the past two years with her outrageously funny and highly relatable stand up routines. Her charm and wit quickly win over the toughest of crowds, placing her on the "verge of artistic renown." She is an entertainer, personality, and newsmaker with tremendous talent that has landed her on stages, newsstands and screens across the nation. Here's a quick taste of her stand-up routine:
Comedian and actress Harriet Halloway was born and raised in the ghettos of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. As a teenager Harriet decided to leave school and accede to the beckoning lights of the stage, quickly becoming a fixture in New York's downtown burlesque scene as a performer and emcee. The jailbait blonde soon realized that her humor was her biggest asset, which snowballed into a career as a full-time stand up comedian. Along the way, Harriet has been one of New York’s most popular underground “It” girls. She has been a muse for artists, designers, photographers and musicians - studied with some of the most prestigious acting teachers in the world, and even starred in several music videos. She is a pin-up/editorial model, and has appeared in a number of national magazines. Paper Magazine quoted her as “on the verge of artistic renown…tomorrow’s superstar today!” Most recently, Harriet finished shooting her starring role in the independent film The Louisiana Conversation with director Adam Hardman, was interviewed for a full page feature in The New York Times, and can be seen in upcoming films and T.V. appearances. She performs regularly in comedy clubs nationwide.
